7 STEPS TO ASSEMBLE A SOLID CLIP TYRE USING A TYRE PRESS
- Place the support plate on the tyre press and align the rim and cone on top of it.
- Apply a generous amount of grease to the tyre rim and the inside of the tyre so the two surfaces can be fitted together smoothly.
- Your solid clip tyre has a clip on one side that holds the tyre to the rim. Place the tyre over the rim and cone, ensuring the clip side is on the top.
- Centre the cage on top of the tyre and ensure all parts are in alignment.
- Press down using the tyre press until the clip locks into place. Ensure it fits into the groove perfectly.
- Release the pressure and remove the cone.
- Wipe away any extra grease from the tyre and double-check that the clip is locked in tightly before mounting the tyre on your forklift.
